David DaCosta is a Dad, Author, Illustrator, and Multi-Disciplinary Designer with over 20 years experience in branding and marketing. He counts his New York upbringing, classic cartoons, and his family as a few of his many inspirations. When he’s not annoying his wife with new jokes, he spends his time grilling and enjoying a laidback life in the Pacific Northwest.

David's Jokey Jokes book series is inspired by working on jokes with his 6-year-old daughter and David’s love of quirky character design. By merging jokes and illustration together, David has found a project that is a truly full-filling creative outlet.
